Job Description
Position Summary:
The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role within the organization, ensuring projects are completed on time while surpassing customer expectations. Collaborating closely with the team, the Project Engineer will maintain open communication with stakeholders regarding project timelines and major milestones.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create parts, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks software.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Communicate regularly with project teams, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and proactive strategies to minimize project impacts.
- Hold training sessions and hands-on demonstrations for the customer service department on troubleshooting issues in the field.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a related engineering field.
- A minimum of 3-7 years of engineering experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the RV/automotive industry.
- Preferred experience with electrical wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of quality, safety, and manufacturability of battery packs.
- Ability to work hands-on with prototyping, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to develop and track project plans and schedules.
- Flexibility and capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
