Are you passionate about visual storytelling and thrive in a fast-paced creative environment?  We’re looking for a Motion Graphics Artist and Video Editor to join our dynamic Marketing Team and help elevate our brand through stunning visuals and engaging video content.  If you’re a creative thinker with a sharp eye for detail, strong editing chops, and a passion for motion design, we want to see your reel?

 

The Motion Graphics Artist and Video Editor is responsible for designing and producing visually compelling motion graphics and editing videos for use across a variety of platforms, including social media, YouTube, email marketing, and more.  This position will collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to develop on-brand visual content, enhance campaign performance, and engage target audiences.  The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple projects with tight deadlines, and stays current with the latest trends in video and motion design.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce engaging motion graphics for marketing campaigns, auctions, and social media content.
  • Edit long-form and short-form videos for various platforms, including YouTube, social media, OTT and email marketing.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual assets that align with brand guidelines.
  • Integrate motion graphics and video assets into email marketing and website content.
  • Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Undertake additional assigned duties as requested.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics and video editing work (links or attachments encouraged).
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics creation.
  • Solid graphic design skills with a strong eye for layout, typography, and color.
  • Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro (proficiency in at least one is a must).
  • Ability to create both long-form and short-form video content for digital marketing, social media, and auctions.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and delivery standards for web and social media platforms.
  • Ability to utilize various technologies, tools, and systems to gather and share information electronically
  • Basic knowledge of color grading and correction techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take direction and feedback constructively.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for innovation and a creative mindset.
  • Interest or familiarity with the auction industry or heavy equipment is a plus!
  • Spanish speaking bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Requires the ability to satisfactorily complete a background check.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D animation and tools like Cinema 4D or Blender.
  • Videography, lighting or camera operator experience.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for asset creation and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and what drives engagement through video.
  • Basic knowledge of motion tracking and compositing techniques.
  • Understanding of storyboarding and pre-visualization.

 

Working Settings:

  • Full-time Salaried Exempt, not eligible for overtime.
  • Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, Central Time zone, additional hours may be required depending on priorities.
  • This position is remote within the United States. Please note: the first week of employment training is required to be in the Manhattan, KS headquarters.
  • Potential for40% travel, should the need arise.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

 

Compensation:

  • The salary varies based on experience and qualifications, but typically ranges from $55,000 to $70,000 per year.
  • Monthly Bonus Program - determined by the Company’s monthly revenue result and are paid on a “percent to plan” payout formula (90% = $300, 100% = $600, 110% = $900, 120% = $1,200).
  • Monthly phone stipend in accordance with the Company’s cell phone policy, currently $120/month.
  • Health, Dental, and Vision starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
  • 401(k) plan with an employer match up to 4% starting the first day of employment.
  • Company-paid Life Insurance benefit of $25,000 with options to add more through employee contribution starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
  • Personal Time Off (PTO) annual amount of 120 hours which is prorated based on the number of days between the 60th day of employment and the end of the calendar year.  May vary to comply with state requirements.
  • Eligible to participate in the Company Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) after 90 days of employment, with enrollment opportunities each May and November.
