PURPLE LA is actively seeking bright and enthusiastic interns to join the Showroom & VIP team in our Los Angeles Office!
T
he right candidates must have a genuine passion for Fashion & VIP PR as well as Business Development and Operations. They must also be organized, driven, and creative; willing to learn while also taking the initiative. Good written communication skills and a basic understanding of public relations are also desired.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom & VIP interns will support with the following:
Showroom & Operations
- Assist with general support with front office & showroom tasks (Supporting with front desk coverage, greeting clients, visitors, and staff, answering phone calls/emails in a timely matter, supply management, showroom merchandising)
- Support with Sample Trafficking (Returns & Send outs) in an organized fashion
- Support with processing of Incoming and Outgoing Designer collections
- Assist the team with maintaining accurate Inventory and standards on Launch Metrics.
- Assist with the preparation and breakdown of executive meetings.
- Help to create content for internal communications.
- Support on other ad-hoc projects as needed by the business.
- Support with creating brand lookbooks
- Assist the team with coordinating image and press kit send outs
- Communicate brand approvals to stylists & assistants
- Scanning and formatting coverage reports
- Support with using Launch Metrics to process stylist pulls
- Help assist with updating contact lists and media databases
- Help assist with client gifting projects
- Assisting with special events, pre and post event management
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be able to commit to 2-3 days in-person a week (9AM-5PM)
- Must be able to receive school credit
- Retail Experience a plus but not required
- This is an unpaid internship. We will provide experience that meets the criteria for academic credit and will complete any paperwork provided by the student to obtain course credit from an accredited academic institution. You must be able to work in office a minimum of 15 hours per week.
