We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team, with a focus on delivering electrical engineering solutions for a range of projects, particularly Biogas Facilities involving anaerobic digestion of animal manure and food waste. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in electrical engineering and be proficient in using various tools and software relevant to the field.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform electrical engineering tasks to create detailed Electrical IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, including Load Lists, Low Voltage Equipment Specifications (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, etc.), Panel Schedules, Hazardous Area Classifications, Grounding, Conduit / Cable Schedules, Heat Trace, and related details.
- Develop Instrumentation / Control IFC drawings, including I / O Lists, PLC Specifications, Schematics, Network Design, and Control Philosophy.
- Serve as the project Electrical Engineer, managing all project correspondence through the Project Manager or Principal Engineer. Assist in defining project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide project-based mentorship to Engineers, Designers, and Drafters, offering guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Attend team meetings, lead discussions on electrical design, and review electrical drawings created by Engineers, Designers, Drafters, and Vendors.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of industry standards, including NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NESC, IEEE, and API. Ensure all designs comply with these standards.
- Utilize power study software (e.g., SKM / ETAP) as needed. Experience with emergency power generation systems (generators, solar, etc.) is advantageous.
