The Role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, etc.); Perform general cleaning at any area on the Facility grounds regularly and as needed.

The Role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, etc.); Perform general cleaning at any area on the Facility grounds regularly and as needed.
What You Will Do
- Maintains housekeeping in common areas in and around the plant (e.g. empties common trashcans, mops common aisles, makes sure parking lot and area around the building is free of garbage)
- Manages disposal of corrugated scrap in coordination with recycling pick up days.
- Keep production common areas clean of dust and powder build up
- Removes any damaged pallets from the production floor and keeps pallet storage area neat and organized.
- Maintain Maintenance shop supplies, including but not limited to, straightening shelves, drawers, and cleaning parts.
- Responsible for facility’s PPE safety supplies. This includes putting away incoming supplies, cycle counting items in the bulk rack, and keeping the plant storage cabinet stocked at all times.
- Provide basic building maintenance, sheet rock repair, light bulb replacement, painting, etc.
- Provide general labor assistance as needed to the Maintenance Mechanics
- All associated duties in the safe and efficient operation of the production department
