Machine Operator – 12 Hour Night Shift

Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable and safety-minded Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team in Hebron, Kentucky. This role involves operating blow-mold, PET, injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. The Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring production lines, troubleshooting minor process issues, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, organized work area in compliance with company policies and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and adhere to workplace safety standards.
• Demonstrate punctuality, good attendance, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
• Operate blow-mold, PET, or injection molding machines to produce quality products.
• Conduct regular bottle inspections and perform basic tests (e.g. drop tests).
• Complete audits, weights, and quality checks according to procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery.
• Maintain proper labeling and packaging according to customer requirements.
• Accurately document production data, including output, regrinds, rejects, and downtime.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and mechanical adjustments.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Communicate abnormalities or quality concerns promptly to leadership.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Basic math skills and computer literacy.
• Previous blow-mold, PET, or injection molding machine operation experience preferred.
• Education:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training:
• On-the-job training provided. Must successfully complete machine operation training within 90 days of hire.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, grasp, and reach.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently required to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Work performed in a production environment with moving mechanical parts.
• Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season.
• Noise level is typically loud.
• PPE required in production and designated areas.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
