Medical/ Warehouse Technician – Full Time
A fast-growing medical equipment provider is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join the team. This role involves organizing the warehouse, routing and dispatching orders, managing shipping and receiving, and making deliveries as needed. Responsibilities:
- Receive and document incoming medical supplies and equipment.
- Verify shipment accuracy by comparing packing lists to purchase orders and ensuring all items are in excellent condition.
- Load and unload products, restock shelves, and manage inventory as necessary.
- Prepare supply orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and organizing items for delivery.
- Secure and maintain medical equipment and supplies for safety and functionality.
- Maintain assigned company vehicle, including regular cleaning and coordinating necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Deliver, set up, and maintain equipment at client locations.
- Complete all required delivery paperwork, including invoices, manifests, and logs.
- Stay informed on current products, services, and relevant regulations.
- Deliver equipment and oxygen in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participate in periodic inventory checks.
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
- Support team operations by contributing to collective goals.
- Keep work areas clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously in all client interactions.
- Maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot durable medical equipment (DME) directly from patients' homes, including diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Must have hands-on experience with DME troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of respiratory equipment such as oxygen concentrators, CPAPs, and ventilators.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required.
- Report equipment hazards and product incidents in accordance with policy.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 2 years of delivery or related experience preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting DME in patient homes is required.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory medical equipment is essential.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Relocation required before start date)
