What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Bather position at PurrFurred Pet Styling?
Who we are:
We are a busy family owned and operated pet grooming business with locations in Naperville, Aurora, and Warrenville.
Position:
We are in need of a Dog Bather to join our team at our Naperville Location working approx 30-35 hrs per week.
Requirements:
- MUST be able to work Saturdays
- Shifts are 8:30am to approx. 3:00pm, Tuesday - Saturday
- Some experience with animals is very much preferred (i.e. dog daycare, dog walking, vet assistant, pet sitting, etc).
- Must have a love for pets, be dependable, punctual, and efficient. This position also requires patience and the ability to handle difficult pets in a gentle manor, as the job can be challenging at times.
- Must be in good health and able to lift small, medium, & large dogs. The position requires bending, crouching, and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
Primary job duties:
- Bathing & Drying Dogs
- Brushing
- Nail Trims
- General Cleaning Duties, including the bathing area & kennels
