Inspector (2nd Shift) - Pursuit Aerospace

Position: Inspector
Department: FSM Forming
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12am, Monday-Friday)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our team at the Eastford, CT facility. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a dynamic opportunity, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect products using various gauges, scales, and visual inspection tools before shipment.
- Perform complex geometric layout inspections using standard variable gauging and mathematics.
- Prepare and submit first article inspections to meet customer specifications.
- Verify certifications and test incoming raw materials.
- Act as the Designated Quality Representative for specific customers, releasing products for shipment.
- Examine materials or products for surface defects, such as cracks and irregularities.
- Compare products against part lists or sample models to ensure assembly completion.
- Ensure dimensional compliance with drawings and customer requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with management or engineering teams to establish quality standards.
- Conduct in-process inspections and testing throughout manufacturing to ensure compliance with mechanical and process requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in a Quality Control role in a commercial or aerospace environment (preferred).
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
- Proficiency in interpreting customer drawings and engineering sketches.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
