We are seeking a Business Systems Manager for a primarily remote role, with a preference for candidates based in the greater Connecticut area.
Purpose/ Summary:
The Manager, Business Systems position oversees the support and enhancements of critical business systems, with a strong focus on ERP products, Infor Visual Manufacturing, and Epicor, and provides leadership and coordination to ensure business systems meet the functional requirements and the strategic goals of the organization.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general direction:
- Oversees the administration, customization, and optimization of ERP systems to support business operations
- Leads ERP implementation, upgrades, and integration projects
- Troubleshoots and resolves ERP-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Plans, executes, and delivers IT and systems projects on time and within budget
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Utilizes project management tools and methodologies to monitor progress and address risks proactively.
- Works with SQL to manage databases, create queries, and support reporting needs
- Collaborates with stakeholders to design and deliver custom BI reports and dashboards using Qlik (experience with Qlik is a plus).
- Assists with governance of data warehouses in Snowflake.
- Analyzes current business processes and identifies opportunities for improvement through system enhancements
- Aligns IT systems with organizational goals to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manages, mentors, and develops a team of business systems analysts and IT professionals; sets performance goals, conducts regular evaluations, and fosters a collaborative team environment
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or relative field
- 7 years of relevant experience with supporting and implementing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred) including 3 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in SQL fir data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge in business intelligence tools and reporting platforms - Qlik Cloud, Snowflake, DBT, data warehouse tools and reporting preferred

- Strong organizational time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members
- Strong project management skills
