Role : Azure Data Architect
Location : Boca Raton, FL
We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Architect to lead in our efforts to migrate to and manage our newly implemented Azure environment.
You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.
The primary duties and responsibilities include :
Develop and maintain Azure Data Architecture, ensuring compliance with data-related policies and standards
Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
Design and implement data solutions on Azure, using a range of services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, Stream Analytics, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB and more
Collaborate with data scientists and IT team members to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Implement data security and privacy protection
Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members to assist them in building and optimizing the Azure system into an innovative industry leader
Develop and implement strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database
Work with data governance teams to ensure data solutions are compliant with regulations
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
Maintain updated knowledge of the Azure platform and best practices
Skills :
Must Haves : 8 years Data Engineering, with 4 years Azure stack experience (Azure, ADF, Databricks, Functions)
Nice to have Skills : Data Modeling, AZ-203 Azure Architect Certification
