PURVIS Systems is seeking Systems Engineer to help in executing integration and analysis activities. The Systems engineer will be responsible for identifying issues, generating solutions, and verifying the solutions are implemented as designed.
\n- Development of concepts of operations for radar systems.
- Radar processing algorithm and software requirements development.
- Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
- Analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution.
- Collaborating with Systems / Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions.
- Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
- Additional focus areas for these radar systems include signal processing and waveform design, electronic protection methods, phased array and digital beamforming technology, radar search, track and discrimination design, target and threat modeling, integration and test of large radar systems, MBSE.
- This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to hybrid or remote possibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering Discipline or Mathematics. and 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- In lieu of degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments.
- Design experience in the following radar system areas: Antenna, Receiver/Exciter, Waveforms, Digital Beamforming, Multi-Sensor Track Management and Data Fushion, Adaptive Signal Processing, Clutter Mitigation Techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning.
- Excellent written and oral communicactions skills.
- Requirements development experience, including use of DOOS
- Experience with MATLAB/Python/C
Position will require having or applying for a government security clearance.
