We are looking for self-motivated leaders that know how to supervise a team in their day-to-day tasks. The Lead must be able to work efficiently and have excellent communication skills. It is preferred that our front of house Leads have a strong understanding of baking and food production, but we will train these things for the right person. The Leads are responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of Bakery and Cafe operations with the support of the Bakery Management Team.
The right candidate will be a skilled leader, detail oriented, able to communicate directly and clearly, and will be capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast paced environment.
- Leading, training and coaching team members to uphold the highest customer service standards as set forth by Ownership
- Functions as point person and departmental person in charge in absence of General Manager.
- While this is primarily a customer facing role, baking and kitchen experience is a plus.
- Quality control - Ability to show great attention to the highest quality and detail
- Is self-motivated, having the ability to plan, prioritize, schedule, and manage a calendar and schedule (strong organizational and communication skills).
- Provide adequate and timely communication with ownership/ management in regards to problems/concerns, opportunities, recognition, and other matters of importance.
- Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the core vales of the company
- Help create and facilitate trainings for employees that enhance and build upon their skills, knowledge and abilities. Ensure new hires are trained appropriately and effectively.
- Know and adhere to all aspects of the Employee Handbook, current policies and procedures, safety procedures and programs
- Follow and embody our standards for warm and welcoming customer service.
- Ability to manage customer satisfaction and employee efficiency in a high volume Cafe counter service environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18/hour plus tips (tips are $5-$7/ hour making hourly wage starting from $23 hour including tips)
Managers and Leads receive a 100% discount on their shift meal
