We are looking for self-motivated leaders that know how to supervise a team in their day-to-day tasks. The Lead must be able to work efficiently and have excellent communication skills. It is preferred that our Front of House Leads have a strong understanding of baking and food production, but we will train these things for the right person. The Leads are responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of Bakery operations with the support of the Bakery Management Team.
The right candidate will be a skilled leader, detail oriented, able to communicate directly and clearly, and will be capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, training and coaching team members to uphold the highest customer service standards as set forth by Managment
- Ensuring customers are receiving food and beverages in a timely manner and being welcomed into the Cafe with warmth.
- Functioning as point person and departmental person in charge in absence of Management.
- Quality control - from baked goods, savory foods and the environment, you'll show great attention to the highest quality and detail
- Have the ability to plan, prioritize, schedule, and manage a calendar and schedule (your strong organizational skills are valued here!)
- Providing adequate and timely communication with ownership/ management in regards to problems/concerns, opportunities, recognition, and other matters of importance.
- Acting with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the core vales of the company
- Helping create and facilitate topics of training for employees that enhance and build upon their skills, knowledge and abilities and enhance the experience that our customers have when they are here.
- Ensuring new hires are trained appropriately and effectively.
- Know and adhere to all aspects of the Employee Handbook, current policies and procedures, safety procedures and programs
