TITLE : Bus Driver
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must be 18 or older
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent level of education.
- Obtain Oklahoma Class B Commercial Driver License with Passenger and School Bus endorsements
- Obtain Oklahoma State Department of Education school bus driver certification
- Pass a DOT physical examination at a facility designated by the Transportation Department, including drug / alcohol test.
- Lift and carry 75 (seventy five) pounds across 40 (forty) feet of level ground.
REPORTS TO : Director of Transportation, Student Discipline Supervisor, Designated Driver Examiner / Training Supervisor, Special Needs Route Supervisor, Route Supervisor / Accident Investigator, Activity Trips Supervisor
JOB GOAL : Enable each student through safe and efficient transportation to take full advantage of the complete range of curricular and extracurricular activities offered by the district's schools.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Nine-month basis. Salary established by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION : Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy.
