GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Highly skilled technical work providing professional programming and analytical services. Activities would require interaction with development software and operating systems to create / modify / maintain data-centric applications.
Essential Job Functions
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide internal and external users with technical support of applications.
- Collaborate with County IT department to plan, develop, test & implement business solutions using a variety of techniques, tools and languages.
- Collaborate with software vendors to plan, develop, test, and implement business solutions using a variety of techniques, tools and languages.
- Design and develop SQL Server database objects, including views, stored procedures and indexes.
- Maintain, modify and enhance existing application programs
- Develop and maintain applications that integrate with vendor solutions.
- Interface with users to provide technical expertise for systems, applications and web sites.
- Draws and updates base map of areas, cities, and counties.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

ANNUAL (VACATION) LEAVE - All regular full-time employees assigned to a 37.50 work week will earn 90 hours to 150 hours, depending on classification and length of service. All regular full-time employees assigned to a 40 hour work week will earn 96 hours to 160 hours, depending on classification and length of service. Note : Leave accruals may differ for bargaining unit employees.
SICK LEAVE - All regular full-time employees will earn sick leave at a rate of 13 days per year. Regular part time employees will accrue sick leave on a pro-rata basis. Note : Leave accruals may differ for bargaining unit employees.
