What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Putnam County Government?
We are looking for a responsible Security Officer to protect the County Courthouse by conducting security checks, monitoring surveillance video, and responding to any emergencies. It is important for a Security Officer to be professional as they will closely work with the public.
The ideal candidate will be observant, have good judgement and be patient. They will have great communication skills to properly converse with the public and employees.
Duties Include:
- Monitoring surveillance video
- Conduct security checks for specified areas
- Control visitor and employee building access
- Respond to any emergencies
- Routine checks of building
