Job Summary:
The Patient Transport will pick up and assist patients from one location and ensuring they arrive safely and timely to their previously scheduled destination. These trips will be in a PCH Vehicle. This position is part-time, about 15-20 hours per week. The schedule will vary each week, transports will be between 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST. Transports are usually scheduled a week in advance, so you can plan your schedule!
Job Responsibilities:
• ability to drive the hospital van safely while transporting patients
• ability to use GPS to find specific locations and addresses
• ability to assist patients with physical limitations to get in and out of the vehicle, wheelchair, and to the location as needed
• ability to stay on schedule and balance multiple pick up and drop off times
• ability to use PCH Tiger Text to receive patient transport details
• prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
• ability to plan ahead and share any schedule constraints with the scheduling team in advance
• ability to listen and provide support needed to a variety of patients with different needs
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
Education Experience: HS Graduate or Equivalent
Travel Requirements: 100%
Age Requirement: 18
Requirements:
• ability to drive safely with passengers in various types of weather throughout the day
• ability to maintain a positive attitude and great customer focused mind throughout the day
• Valid and clean driving record
Salary : $13 - $20
