Staff Pharmacist
PCH Pharmacist is responsible for staffing, clinical and quality improvement duties, and general supervision of workflow. Daily activities may include patient profile review; medication order entry and dispensing; renal dosing and antibiotic/anticoagulant monitoring; patient counseling; and employee prescription processing. Other duties include development of and involvement in quality improvement and clinical therapy projects, leading the Medication Safety Team, providing medication counseling, and other special projects. Pharmacists work closely with clinical staff at all levels, and are a trusted member of the patient care team.
