Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Provide support for residents with memory care needs, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
- Help residents with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and communicate effectively with team members.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, encouraging social interaction and participation in community activities.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety within the living environment.
Skills
- Experience in home care or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques and practices.
