The Assemblies Technician is responsible for performing secondary operations on tubing products to complete customer orders. The Technician will also assist engineers with process documentations, troubleshooting and improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders by performing automated or manual operations. Troubleshoot and develop process improvements as required. Ensure work orders and material transactions are properly conducted in the system.
- Perform inspections and measurements on product to ensure desired process outputs are achieved.
- Assist New Product Development with bringing secondary operation processes to a production state, including writing work instructions and setup sheets based on designed processes.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years working in manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications,
- Must have some technical problem-solving skills and able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be detail oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some experience with plastics or medical device manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems.
- Good mechanical, precision measuring, intricate assembly, and cleaning skills.
Physical Requirements:

- Must have strong fine motor skills and ability to work with a microscope and handle small components.
- Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods and possess hand motor skills necessary for operating precision measuring devices and tools.
- Required to stand/walk for majority of an 8 hour work shift and lift/push/pull up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout work shift.
