We are a beautiful skilled nursing and rehabilitating facility conveniently located in Brewster, NY. We are looking for a full time Concierge to assist with meeting the needs of our residents and their families.
The Concierge is responsible for coordinating guest hospitality services for residents and family members within the facility. This position is a key in creating a positive service environment. The successful candidate will create and maintain a strong relationship with staff in all departments by encouraging communication, collaboration, and dedication to customer service and quality improvement. This position offers opportunities to work directly with local and corporate leadership teams to develop, maintain and exceed service experience and culture within the facility.
Qualifications:
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Experience in a long-term care setting is ideal
· Must be a team-player and maintain a positive working relationship with all staff
· Excellent customer service, interpersonal and telephone skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must have a professional attitude and a willingness to accept new challenges

Concierge Duties Include:
· Always having a positive demeanor!
· Giving tours of the unit to visitors.
· Making sure new admissions are greeted with a welcome bag and escorted to their room; confirming rooms are clean and ready to take in the new admission prior to their arrival.
· Coordinating guest hospitality services for residents and family members within the unit
· Coordinating service-related activities to ensure goals for customer satisfaction and minimize escalation of any complaints.
· Responsible for making unit rounds to engage residents, families, and visitors in conversation while ensuring satisfaction with the care and services we provide.
· Answer call bells
· Schedule outside appointments for residents when needed
· Working alongside department directors, keeping them informed on any concerns; following-up to ensure they have been resolved.
· Conducting both an 'Entry Survey' and 'Exit Survey' for all residents.
