Esports Head Coach

Position Type: Full Time - 12 months

Hours: Regular school hours with Esports practice taking place after the school day 

General Job Description:

• A Head Coach is a 12-month employee. 
• The Head coach will report directly to the school Athletic Director.
• In collaboration and consultation with the School Head and the School President, the Head coach will focusing esports and computer-related academic and athletic work, i.e. creating curriculum and teams.

Major Duties and Responsibilities for Esports Head Coach:
1) Make school sports program development plan with the School Head
2) Managing esports team
3) Recruit players to the team meeting the goal of recruitment numbers as set by the Head of Schools
4) Locate and reach out to sponsors for the program
5) Work with the students to create a collaborative and positive team environment
6) Counsel the student-athletes on academic, athletic and social issues
7) Head coach and supervising coaches and players of the esports team
8) Schedule and coach matches and tournaments
9) Transport students to and from competitions
10) Market the team to colleges and universities to held assist students in getting scholarship to further
their educational goals.
11) Meet regularly with the team to establish trust and a mentorship relationship
12) Work closely with the players, to motivate them, identify their strengths and weaknesses and make
sure they are playing at their best
