Technology Assistant Dummerston and Putney Schools

Dummerston School and Putney Central School, two PK - 8 schools in WSESD, are hiring a shared Technology Assistant for the remainder of the 2025 school year. This is a full time position from now through June 2025. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrate high degree of interpersonal and communication skills Acute attention to detail Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Troubleshooting basic technology problems common in digital learning environments Maintaining technology infrastructure including regular maintenance of student devices Consulting with teachers and administrators on effective digital communication within the school community, including websites, and social media. Providing technical support for the effective integration of technology throughout all areas of the school’s curriculum, Consulting with teachers to support: the effective use of technology tools and resources to continuously assess student learning and student ability to choose and use appropriate technology the effective use of technology tools and resources to collect and analyze student achievement data, interpret results, and communicate findings to inform instructional practice and maximize student learning the use of online and blended learning, digital content, and collaborative learning networks to support and extend student learning.
