Job Details
Job Purpose:The Regional Director of Event Sales is a dynamic and strategic role responsible for cultivating strong connections with guests to curate optimal venue options tailored to meet diverse guest needs. This position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue by proactively identifying, prospecting, securing, and orchestrating events through corporate and community networks. The incumbent must possess a deep understanding of venue operations and be adept at selecting venue variations that enhance every guest's experience. The Regional Director of Event Sales is expected to have a comprehensive grasp of the guest journey, spanning from entrance to gaming, dining, service, and beyond. Collaboration with all departments is essential to ensure seamless event execution.
In addition, the Regional Director of Event Sales plays a crucial role in effective communication with operations, ensuring meticulous event setup, execution, follow-up, and highlighting key event successes. This role aligns closely with Event Sales guidelines, requiring a profound understanding of pricing, budgets, and projections to consistently achieve set Sales Goals.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and nurture leads to promote, sell, and flawlessly execute events within the Puttery venue.
- Skillfully negotiate contracts with clients, securing deposits and balances in accordance with terms.
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to communicate event strategies, expectations, and execution details.
- Initiate and champion local community and corporate outreach efforts to drive event sales and elevate the Puttery brand.
- Cultivate expertise in assigned local markets to identify social and corporate networking opportunities that contribute to revenue growth.
- Employ strategic upselling techniques to maximize revenue potential.
- Provide inspirational leadership and mentorship to all Puttery Team Members.
- Execute administrative responsibilities such as time-keeping, payroll management, and inventory oversight as required.
- Advocate for and participate in company-sponsored training and growth initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, departments, staff, and senior management.
- Innovate and lead programs that foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and enjoyment.
- Uphold an environment characterized by respect and understanding among all Puttery Team Members.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Additional Information
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess 3-5 years of Sales experience within a high-volume, complex leisure entertainment concept.
- Demonstrate familiarity with market trends and industry best practices.
- Exhibit quick and accurate decision-making in dynamic situations, prioritizing hospitality and guest experience.
- Showcase exceptional verbal and written communication skills while collaborating with diverse staff levels.
- Display prior experience in managing significant projects and supervising day-to-day workforce activities.
- Proficiently communicate across organizational levels.
- Display competence with various computer software programs, including MS Office, Sales Technology, CRS, and Point of Sale systems.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working extended hours as needed during busy periods.
- Operate personal computers and necessary applications proficiently.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.

Education:
