Summary: Under general direction and with little supervision, performs a variety of maintenance functions requiring a detailed knowledge of the company's maintenance needs. This position requires knowledge of the fundamentals and principles of most industrial trades. Duties may include, but are not limited to, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, machine repair, and welder maintenance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat, cold, humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. The noise level in this environment is frequently loud. Ability to continuously stand or walk; and the ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Must be comfortable working at heights up to 50'. Must be comfortable working in confined spaces.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs complex maintenance work with little supervision on a variety of manufacturing equipment, the building, and grounds, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, hydraulics, and welding.
- Documents work detail and the materials needed to accomplish the task, as this is required for specific inspections, modifications, and audits.
- Provides professional workmanship for the installation and/or modification of all installed electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
- Provides critical input to help with energy conservation, recycling, and waste management.
- Following a pre-determined schedule, performs preventive maintenance on specific complex production equipment.
- Tests the sprinkler system on a quarterly basis and helps record the results for future reference.
- Ensures that the work area is orderly, clean, and safe on a daily basis.
- Maintains Putzmeister America's high standards of quality.
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of electrical test equipment (voltage meter and amp meter).
- Must show a basic working knowledge of pneumatics, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Understands the metric system of measurement.
- Highschool diploma or GED
- A minimum of three (2) years electrical/maintenance experience
