Puyallup School District's Food and Nutrition Services team is looking for two dedicated professionals to join us as Elementary Coordinators! If you’re passionate about providing high-quality meals to students and leading a team, we’d love to hear from you.
📌 Position: Food and Nutrition Services Elementary Coordinator
📍 Location: Food and Nutrition Services Department
💼 Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8 hours/day)
📅 Calendar: 214-Day Schedule
💰 Rate: Professional Technical - Level 17 between $51.62 - $63.02/hour
What You’ll Do:
✅ Supervise food service teams at multiple school sites
✅ Ensure safe and efficient meal production and service
✅ Maintain health and safety standards
✅ Oversee staffing, inventory, and menu planning
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Prior experience in large-scale food production & supervision
✔ Strong skills in menu planning, inventory management, and food safety
✔ Knowledge of health codes, nutrition requirements, and sanitation principles
✔ Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively
Requirements:
🔹 High School Diploma or equivalent
🔹 Valid Driver’s License & insurability
🔹 School Nutrition Association Certification
🔹 Washington State Food Worker’s Permit
🔹 Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
