What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Operations Specialist position at Puyenpa?
The role involves physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise.
Duties include manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow.
This position will also support other related and miscellaneous tasks to fulfill the requirements of the contract.
Physical Requirements:
Stand or walk up to 2 hours at one time, up to 8 hours per day; sit for less than 2 hours during an 8 hour day.
Operates motor vehicles or heavy equipment (e.g., forklift, high reach, cherry picker) occasionally (less than 33% of the workday). License may be required to operate equipment.
Lift or carry up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds limits on occasional basis.
Frequently use hands for simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing or pulling.
Frequently bend, squat, kneel, knee stand, lift overheard, reach overhead, push, or pull with forces up to 35 pounds.
Work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and environmental conditions.
Possess ability to work at heights, full range of body motions and physical agility, and ability to maintain balance.
Ability to stand, walk, crawl, climb, stoop, pull and crouch for extended periods. Ability to repeatedly raise or lower objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
