Location : Tampa, FL 33619
Salary : $17-$30 / Hourly
Job Summary : The Yard Laborer supports all functions of operations in the yard. This includes providing exceptional service to everyone that visits the yard whether vendors, employees, or subcontractors. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, picking, staging and loading project orders / materials onto trucks with forklift / heavy machines, and picking up orders when last minute materials are needed to fill orders. Other responsibilities may be assigned and additional training provided over time.

What You’ll Do :
Maintain a positive, productive work environment through friendly, respectful relationships with clients & co-workers.
Accurately pick, secure, stage and load orders for pick up or delivery.
Stock material in from storage areas, load and unload delivery vehicles and freight containers by hand or using a forklift.
Pick up and / or deliver project materials via non-CDL pickup, following all delivery procedures.
Ensures yard is continually clean and maintained and that materials are stored properly, including covering those materials as required.
Ensures that inventory and supplies are organized in the warehouse and yard.
Keep all machinery, equipment, and tools clean and in good working order for safe usage.
Reports all issues regarding safety, waste, damage, equipment, accidents or concerns promptly to a member of Management.
Informs Inventory control manager promptly of suspected inventory shortage.
Must be able to safely operate equipment and work outside in all types of weather conditions.
Work safely with and around moving trucks and moving machinery / equipment
