What are the responsibilities and job description for the SPECIAL ED TEACHER - EARLY INTERVENTION position at Puzzle Pieces EIP?
Puzzle Pieces is an approved Early Intervention program in NYC! We are approved to provide services in all 5 boroughs! We are currently offering competitive rates, and rates will be negotiable depending on experience in the specific area of service.
We are currently looking for professional, compassionate, & experienced Special Education Teachers who hold the Students with Disabilities (Birth - Grade 2) certification to provide home based Special Instruction and ABA services.
We currently offer our providers electronic billing, and documentation portal for convenience, as well as electronic signature options for TELEHEALTH SERVICES.
Responsibilities
- Work with Students 12 Months of age to 3 years old
- Travel to students' home or Day care.
- Provide Special Instruction or ABA methods to eligible students!
- Collect ABA data.
- Daily Session notes
- Quarterly Progress reports
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IFSPs) for student
- Create engaging lesson plans that accommodate the unique needs of each student
- Provide instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet students' diverse needs
- Collaborate with parents, and other team members, to ensure students success.
**ABA TRAINING PROVIDED**
Qualifications
- Master's degree in special education
- State certification in Special Education (Students with Disabilities (Birth - Grade 2)
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively
- Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Skilled in tutoring students with diverse learning styles
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
