What you will be doing :
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations (C-Corp, S-Corp), partnerships, fiduciary accounts, non-profits, and multi-state filings.Conduct in-depth research to resolve complex tax issues and develop innovative tax strategies.Assist clients with tax-related matters, including IRS and state notices, collections, and appeals.Participate in client development and retention, fostering long-term relationships.Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide informed solutions.Participate in client development, retention, and relationship management.Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize client financial outcomes.Stay up-to-date with tax laws and accounting regulations to ensure compliance.Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities.What you will need :
Bachelor's degreeCPA / EA eligibility preferred (or actively pursuing CPA / EA certification).Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts within a CPA firm.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Lacerte is a plus.Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
