We are seeking a talented Game Developer to join our team. Reporting to the Game Development Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, code, and implement innovative gaming experiences. This role requires expertise in Python programming as well as other languages and experience in developing interactive entertainment solutions.

- Collaborate with the writing and design teams to create engaging and innovative gaming experiences.
- Develop and implement game mechanics, logic, and rules based on design specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
- Integrate audio, visual assets, and special effects to enhance player engagement.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliable functionality across platforms.
- Optimize gameplay elements for user engagement and accessibility.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions into game design.
- Document code and technical processes to support ongoing development and maintenance.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for puzzles, mechanics, and storytelling.
- Support the development and implementation of new features and updates throughout the game lifecycle.
- Attend team meetings and collaborate on deadlines, deliverables, and project milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Game Development, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years experience in coding / game development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
- Proven experience in game development, preferably in escape rooms, interactive entertainment, or similar fields.
- Knowledge of game design principles, player psychology, and storytelling mechanics.
- Experience with integrating APIs and managing data flows within games.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with show control systems and interactive elements.
- Experience with additional programming languages like JavaScript, C#, or C .
- Knowledge of VR/AR technologies or cross-platform game development tools.
