Responsibilities
- Bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and preferences.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions.
- Handle pets gently and effectively to minimize stress.
- Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area and equipment.
- Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observed health concerns.
- Assist with drying, brushing, and styling of fur as required.
- Monitor the behavior of pets during grooming to ensure their well-being.
- Provide basic animal care as needed, including feeding and walking.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet care or grooming is mandatory.
- Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including dog handling and kennel management.
- Experience as a veterinary technician or in equine care is a plus.
- Skills in dog training or pet sitting will be beneficial.
