Job Description

We are excited to announce that currently we are looking for Medical Science Liaisons with experience in Hematology/Oncology to initiate scientific dialogue through scientific discussions with clinicians, other healthcare personnel, and additional stakeholders, on behalf of our client, to launch of new medication and provide support for existing medications.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Advanced clinical/medical degree (Pharm D, MD, PhD) from an accredited college or university preferred, master’s degree required.
  • Prior MSL or relevant experience is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years hematology/oncology experience required.
  • High level of scientific excellence, including skill in interpreting medical literature and translating data into a clear and compelling scientific story
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
  • High level of business acumen, including broad knowledge of the healthcare environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex scientific data clearly and effectively
  • Maintain an adaptable and resilient growth mindset with the ability to navigate uncertainty with a positive outlook
  • Highly resourceful, self-motivated, and has the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Unimpeached track record of the highest levels of integrity, honesty and ethics
  • Ability to travel (fly or drive) up to 25-50%, including overnight/weekend stays to various meetings, congresses, and headquarters as needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate high organizational and interpersonal skills and sound judgment in all functions.
  • Highly resourceful, self-motivated and has the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.
  • 70% travel

Position Descriptions and Duties:

  • Launch of new medication and support for existing medications
  • Identify, develop and maintain long-term collaborative relationships by developing and executing a territory plan with HCPs, KOLs, digital opinion leaders (DOLs)
  • Be a medical and scientific resource to KOLs and HCPs while providing accurate, fair and balanced approved scientific data in response to unsolicited scientific questions
  • Attend national and regional medical congresses to build advocacy, present, engage KOLs, join scientific sessions, and gather insights in support of the medical strategic imperatives as well as continue to build and maintain their medical expertise.
  • Gather and communicate field medical insights to drive actionable recommendations and inform medical, marketing, and commercial strategy
  • Develops and maintains strong scientific knowledge of the current competitive landscape and competitive messaging.
  • Upon request, presents clinical data to healthcare professionals (scientific peer to peer) including physicians, academic institutions, researchers, and other health care professionals. 
  • Provide approved information to customers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information as necessary.
  • Upon request, assist or lead regional speaker bureau or online training programs in support of client scientific information and products and services.

The potential base pay range for this role is $150,000-175,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.

Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
