PVBLIC Foundation, a global leader in leveraging media, data, and technology for sustainable development, is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Chief of Staff to support its Founder & Executive Chairman, Sergio Fernandez de Cordova. About the Role:


As the right hand to the Executive Chairman, you will ensure the seamless execution of priorities, enabling the Chairman to focus on advancing PVBLIC’s mission of driving systemic global change.


This role requires exceptional organizational skills, diplomacy, and the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment with global exposure. The Chief of Staff will manage both day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks as well as high-level responsibilities such as drafting memos, preparing reports, supporting the Chairman’s strategic engagements.


As the Executive Chairman’s key admin support, the Chief of Staff will also manage the mix of routine administrative and personal tasks including scheduling, travel coordination, and ad hoc as needed.


Key Responsibilities:


1- Strategic & Multilateral Engagement:

  • Facilitate follow-ups and collaboration across PVBLIC’s extensive network, including government leaders, the United Nations system, multilateral organizations, and leading global family offices. Act as an extension of the Chairman’s leadership by attending meetings on his behalf, creating detailed notes, and driving action items forward to achieve strategic goals.
  • Represent the Executive Chairman in key meetings and forums, driving initiatives forward and ensuring alignment with PVBLIC’s strategic objectives and advancing its global mission as directed.



2- Global Positioning:

  • Manage the Chairman’s positioning across global events and initiatives, working closely with PVBLIC’s world-class events team to ensure alignment with the Foundation’s broader mission.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, coordinating introductions and facilitating strategic meetings that advance the Chairman’s goals.
  • Support the Chairman by operationalizing his network to ensure meaningful connections are nurtured and leveraged for long-term impact. Oversee the Chairman’s presence across social platforms, media, and high-profile forums to amplify his leadership and influence.



3- Operations Management:

  • Oversee the Chairman’s day-to-day operations, including calendar management, global travel coordination, and preparation for high-stakes meetings and events.
  • Develop and maintain streamlined processes to manage the complexity of the Chairman’s role across multiple sectors and regions.
  • Collaborate with other team members or senior executives as directed by the Chairman to ensure processes are aligned and team workflows remain efficient.



4- Program Development & Execution:

  • Support the ideation, creation, and execution of programs and initiatives aligned with PVBLIC’s strategic goals, focusing on innovation, sustainable development, and public-private partnerships.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chairman and executive team to ensure alignment and execution, without taking direct management of programs.
  • Manage Chairman’s needs on any special projects spanning sectors such as economic development, data-driven solutions, and technology transfer.



5- Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders, including heads of state, UN executives, ambassadors, and private sector leaders.
  • Ensure effective communication and follow-up with internal teams and external partners to drive results.



6- High-Level Advisory & Accountability:

  • Act as a thought partner to the Executive Chairman, providing strategic insights, drafting high-level memos and reports, and conducting research. Assist with tracking progress and following through on the Chairman’s commitments to ensure accountability across all initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance the Chairman’s efficiency and impact.



Candidate Profile


The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, problem-solver, and relationship builder who excels in high-pressure environments. They must have the ability to balance high-level strategic work with the execution of detailed operational tasks, supporting the Chairman in all aspects of his role.


Demonstrated ability to represent executive leadership in high-profile settings, manage politically sensitive engagements, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • 7 years of experience in executive-level support, operations management, or global program leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in navigating multilateral systems, including the United Nations and other international organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, international relations, or related fields; advanced degree preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English (Spanish is a priority but not a requirement).
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-priority projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with governments, non-profits, or private sector organizations at a global level.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable development, public-private partnerships, and social impact.
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to manage a demanding schedule, balancing high-level strategic initiatives with detailed operational tasks..
  • Must understand how to use HubSpot CRM tool.
