What are the responsibilities and job description for the Package Handler position at PVD?
Essential Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis
- Must complete plant lock out procedures and key interrupt
- Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams
- Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to
- Discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving syringes.
- Checking packaging for correct count Checking for damage to syringe Inserting brochures as required
- Palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card Operating semiauto tape machine
- Performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- High school Diploma or GED
- Read, write, and speak Englis
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Good handeye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movement
- Keep work area clean
- Regular attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader and required to support the needs of the business
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
