What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Control Accountant position at PVH - PVHardware?
PVHardware are seeking an experienced Cost Control Accountant to join our finance department with a primary mission of supporting in manufacturing and project cost control in Houston, TX.
PVH - PVHardware is a provider of innovative solar tracking solutions for the global utility-scale solar market, including trackers, fixed structures and SCADA system. Yet, we are the third largest solar tracker supplier in the world and aiming to be the leader in the industry!
Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing costs control (fixed and variable costs) and analysis of deviations versus the standard costs.
- Stock control and inventory analysis.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics, KPIs, and business performance indicators.
- Active participation for all monthly end closing activities including journal entries, balance sheet and income statement variance analysis and reporting, compliance reporting and account reconciliation review.
- Drafting of Factory Budget and Forecast.
- Factory budget follow up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or similar.
- 2 years in progressive financial and controllership/accounting roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using SAP is a plus.
- Professional level skills in MS Outlook products is a plus.
- English fluency required.
Regular Contacts:
- Internal: Finance, Production, Logistics, Legal Departments, etc.
- External: Suppliers.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Timely and accurate updating of information and reports issuing.
- Adherence to monthly closing deadlines.
