What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Manager position at PVH - PVHardware?
We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to join our us in the Houston head office. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible of fulfilling all purchasing objectives defined by the organization in terms of development and will enhance the relationship with suppliers in the US.
PV Hardware (PVH) is a provider of innovative solar tracking solutions for the global utility-scale solar market, including trackers, fixed structures and SCADA system. Yet, we are the third largest solar tracker supplier in the world and aiming to be the leader in the industry!
Requirements
- Degrees in International Business Development or Supply Chain Management fields are preferred.
- 5 years’ experience of steel Supply Chain in the US.
- Knowledge of international logistics is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all procurement activities and team members of the purchasing department.
- Improve all steel agreements establish relationships with new suppliers.
- Supervise and support all negotiations with the main suppliers contracts.
- Inform key functional metrics to reduce costs and improve effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the rest of key departments to secure the best commercial terms in US Market
- Monitor risk management of contracts and supplier agreements, as well as search for possible alternatives suppliers.
- Additional responsibilities may be added during the time of employment.
