PVI has an immediate need at their Georgia and North Florida locations for a skilled AC Electrician. This position will support the AC Electrical team with commercial, industrial jobs to troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
The candidate must be willing to travel.
North Florida and Georgia work includes AC Power work with indoor and outdoor installs, low voltage and controls cabling indoors and DC Power installs indoors.
Essential duties and responsibilities :
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following :
Level 2
- Responsible for tools and materials in vehicles that are commonly used and replenish when necessary, to avoid slow-downs. (Vehicles should be clean and organized)
- Responsible for project production.
- Learn skills necessary for the professional installation of electrical equipment in compliance with the NEC including article 110.12. (Neat and workmanlike manner)
o Conduit bending, threading and installation. (Level, plumb and parallel)
o Proper installation of panelboards / equipment.
o Project layout and measuring.
o Troubleshooting
o NEC code compliancy. (Conductor ampacity, Sizing Raceways, Junction boxes and equipment grounding conductors)
o Equipment alarming circuits and network configuration.
o HVAC controller, Avtech and power meter programming.
o Heavy equipment operating.
o Hub entry system. (JB#)
o Become familiar with the Client Standards and maintain them on projects.
o Responsible for a safe and clean work environment.

Compensation dependent upon years of experience and skill mix.
