The Group Fitness Trainer Role:
The Group Fitness Trainer is an integral part of the Pvolve Murfreesboro community. They are responsible for delivering effective, energizing & creative classes in line with the Pvolve Method. The Group Fitness Trainer will be a dynamic, high-energy & commanding instructor who is ready to be part of a fast-paced, rapidly growing company. This position requires group teaching experience, a team-player attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding class experiences after completing the Pvolve 100-hour immersive corporate training program.
Who You Are:
The Pvolve Group Fitness Trainer is amongst the industry’s most experienced fitness trainers. They take pride in their craft and are continuously seeking to refine the art of teaching. They continuously strive to be the best version of themself through feedback, mentorship, and education. They find joy and fulfillment in crafting unparalleled fitness experiences for clients and understand the niche business nuances of the boutique fitness studio instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain 6-8 teaching hours per week
- Successfully complete Pvolve corporates 100-hour immersive training program to deliver on all components of the Pvolve class experience
- Greet clients before class, assess the needs of class participants & personalize classes to member needs
- Ability to provide modifications and challenges to create an all-level class experience
- Point of contact post class, advising clients on frequency, class packages, program offerings & any assisting with any other questions/concerns
- Help build Pvolve attendance and hit retention & utilization goals
- Ensure safety and proper movement execution
- Attend trainer meetings as part of ongoing development
- Grow brand awareness through events, social media & other marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
- A dynamic, high-energy personality
- A love for fitness, health & wellness
- 2 years of group fitness experience
- A deep understanding of safe exercise practices, anatomy, alignment, physiology, and proper movement execution
- A growth mindset with the ability to receive and give feedback
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings & weekends
- Current Trainer certification from select accredited certifying bodies, including, but not limited to: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, AFAA, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Lagree
- Bachelor's degree in an exercise related field a plus
