Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma preferred.
• Experience: Two to five years experience in a company plant or warehouse.
• Certification: None, unless hydrotesting or driving a commercial vehicle.

Key Knowledge Areas

• General processing/operations principles.
• Usage and handling of compressed gases and industrial chemicals.
• S. Department of Transportation regulations if driving.

Essential Skills

• Oral communication.
• Directing others; providing performance feedback.
• Loading and unloading vehicles using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Basic mathematics, such as addition and subtraction of fractions and decimals.

Main Abilities

• Organizing work schedules.
• Influencing others (advising, persuading, negotiating, instructing).
• Dealing with frustrating situations.
• Preparing reports.
• Recognizing site alarms and malfunctions.
• Reading and understanding training materials.
• Visualizing connections/relationships between piping, valves, and other components of the filling and warehouse systems.

Work Environment

• Irregular hours may be required.
