About the Opportunity
The Equity Associate will provide dedicated support for two Portfolio Managers. This position is an early career level position for new or recent college graduates and offers a great career start for creative, hard-working, self-driven and passionate individuals where you will learn about investing through researching companies and their industries. This position will be in Dallas, Texas and offers a hybrid work schedule.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of this role?
- Build, update, and maintain financial models for owned names and new stock ideas.
- Assist with the gathering, synthesizing, and organization of large amounts of stock-specific / industry information (e.g., listening to earnings calls, conference transcripts, etc.) with the goal of helping PMs stay up to date on news flow / fundamental changes regarding portfolio holdings.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Compensation Range : Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The salary, benefits, and variable rewards will reflect the seniority of the position and a competitive market rate. We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $50,000 to $70,000, plus a discretionary bonus.
