The Opportunity

We are looking for a H&S Officer to be apart of Safety Group here at PWR, you will contribute and lead safety initiatives across our manufacturing site.

You will be responsible for:

• Promoting a positive safety culture across the organisation
• Stakeholder and relationship management
• Conduct regular inspections of the workplace and relevant equipment.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Effectively address employee safety concerns and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate emergency procedures, fire wardens and first aid officers
• Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on the status of WH&S programs
• Monitor correct use of PPE
• Support injury management and early intervention
• Ensuring all staff have completed relevant training.

Your Skills and Experience

• Ideally you will bring experience in ISO45001
• Strong understanding of the latest health and safety legislation
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage deadlines
• First Aid certificate
• Valid drivers’ licence
• Experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Team player
