Responsibilities
As a Cook, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team during our peak season. Your responsibilities will include:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Food Safety: Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients by adhering to inventory rotation and storage guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and maintain a smooth kitchen operation.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist with kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold cleanliness and orderliness.
- Adaptability: Be willing to assist in various kitchen roles as needed during busy times.
Qualifications
- Culinary Experience: Prior experience working in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required. Culinary school graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Passion for Cooking: A genuine passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in a culinary career.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
