PYA is seeking a Healthcare Reimbursement Consultant to join its high-performing and privately-owned firm with a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and manages client projects, including leading and/or contributing to the planning, management, and successful completion of consulting projects
- Prepares, reviews, and analyzes Medicare and Medicaid cost reports with a focus on optimal and proper reimbursement and compliance for integrated delivery systems, hospitals, critical access hospitals, home health agencies, federal qualified health centers, hospice centers, rural health clinics, skilled nursing facilities, etc.
- Advises PYA clients regarding reimbursement matters and strategies including but not limited to:
- Rural emergency hospital analysis
- Critical access hospital conversion
- Enhances the content and quality of PYA client reports, records, and claims
- Leads and participates in business development initiatives to include developing and maintaining business relationships with current and future clients and gain the confidence of top-level client personnel regarding the breadth of services offered by PYA
Requirements
- MBA, MPH, MHA or other graduate level master’s degree a plus
- 7 years of healthcare reimbursement experience required; national professional services firm experience preferred
- Expertise in project management of reimbursement consulting services required
- Sound judgment with ability to manage risk effectively
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written
- Client-oriented work ethic, delivering high-quality results
- Creative problem solver with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills and a passion for helping clients
