DESCRIPTION
PYA is seeking a Staff or Senior Consultant with physician practice operational experience to join its high-performing and privately-owned firm with a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation.
- Apply hands-on operational experience and understanding of today’s healthcare environment to evaluate private and affiliated medical practices and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement
- Assist with financial analysis related to expense, revenue, productivity, and key performance indicators
- Perform market and industry research
- Synthesize observations and recommendations to effectively communicate business improvement opportunities and self-review work products
- Assist with client presentations and thought leadership
- Work collaboratively with PYA colleagues to manage day to day internal and client priorities individually and as a part of a team
QUALIFICATIONS
Accounting, finance, public health, health administration or other analytical business discipline graduates
3-4 years of experience managing physician practice operations within a hospital / health system or private practice
