The Business Intelligence Analyst is focused on developing impactful solutions for key stakeholders within a defined pillar of the business. The BI analyst works within a team to understand customer data and information needs, and provides support through data exploration, interpretation, statistical analysis, report development, and visual storytelling. They regularly attend meetings with customer stakeholders to provide work updates, understand project priorities, and establish deliverable timelines. They are a member of a team comprised of professionals working together to develop technical products focused on enabling Pye-Barker strategic initiatives and operational targets.

Pay Range: $70K-90K DOE
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support stakeholders primarily and provide additional support to executive team members, as directed, to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations run efficiently.
Provides ongoing training, maintenance, monitoring and promotion of data applications and reports to ensure data insights are widely known, accessible, and used to its full potential.
Develops meaningful understanding of data and operations of the business areas.
Partners with analyst leadership to ensure customer priorities are understood and resourced.
Provides a high level of expertise and customer service to business leaders across the organization.
Contributes technical acumen and creative thinking to the success of the team and work to advance technical professional skills through structured and personal learning opportunities.
Maintain and refine internal processes that support high-ranking executives companywide and coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflows.
Self-starter and self-motivated. Capable of independent work and able to learn a new software program quickly and in depth.

Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as statistics, mathematics, information systems, data analytics, finance, business management, or economics.
Bachelor’s degree in another area of study with two years of relevant work experience in a role performing data analysis. Experience without a related degree will be considered if skill set and experience are robust.
Demonstrated working knowledge of SQL (structured query language) and a fundamental knowledge of database design structures.
Ability to create visually appealing, content rich and consumer centric reports and dashboards (i.e. Tableau).
Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Aptitude to gain subject matter expertise in related data integration for assigned pillar of the business.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
