The Customer Service / Sales Support Associate will be joining our growing sales support & installation processing department, going the extra mile to assist our external customers and internal personnel. This associate will be the first to interact with potential new customers and the last person to interact with existing customers moving out of the area and closing their accounts. This position requires good communication skills, professionalism, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail and good follow-through skills to be successful. The position is directly responsible for creating an effortless customer experience for external and internal customers.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Respond to various internal & external customer inquiries regarding alarm systems
Assist sales personnel with contracts and documentation tracking as well as complete contracts for internal changes
Complete data entry on customer accounts and in monitoring software, to include job entry & billing
Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services
Effectively work with all departments of the business
Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns
Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details
Inform immediate manager of pertinent issues or discrepancies as they occur
Perform other duties assigned by management
Education/Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
A minimum of 6 months of previous data entry experience is required
Must be organized with a strong ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills, including active listening skills
Ability to handle issues in a professional and confident manner
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
Customer Service and account billing experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
