Central Station Dispatcher

This position is responsible for handling incoming phone calls and alarms and call out on the alarms as presented.

The compensation range for the position is $17.00 to $20.00 an hour based on experience. Our office provides 24/7 support to our customers. This position will require availability on weekends.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Receive incoming calls from existing and potential clients
• Monitor security and fire systems (burglary, fire, and video)
• Receive alarm signals and follow instructions to resolve
• Disseminate information for emergency personnel
• Maintain and build solid working relationships internally and externally
• Perform other duties assigned by management
  
  

Education & Qualifications: 

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a customer service related environment
• Ability to work well while multitasking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills while problem-solving
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Adept at learning new software(s)
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
