Job Summary
This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of portable devices. Ensure compliance with fire codes by inspecting, testing, and performing regular fire extinguisher checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Install or service fire extinguishers in commercial and residential buildings
- Test and repair existing fire extinguishers
- Perform inspections to ensure proper installation according to code
- Complete detailed inspection reports documenting any issues
- Report work results accurately and on time
Maintenance and Operations
- Inspect and maintain company equipment, including vehicles
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency service calls
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Requirements
- A high school education or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA standards is beneficial
- Experience with fire extinguishers and troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation required
